Nubia Red Magic 3S Gaming Phone 2019
ZTE sub-brand Nubia has launched its new Red Magic 3S gaming smartphone in China and will pack it with Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, up to 12 GB of RAM and UFS 3.0 storage.
The phone retains the same design language as the Nubia Red Magic 3 ₹ 35,999, and has been upgraded to specifications only.
Red Magic 3S also integrates active liquid cooling technology with an internal turbo fan that enhances effective heat transfer, enabling longer and smoother gaming sessions. The phone has a 48-megapixel rear camera and a huge 5,000mAh battery.
The Nubia Red Magic 3S is priced at CNY 2,999 (about 30,100 rupees) for 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variants, and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variants for CNY 3,799 (approx. 38,200 rupees).
The company has said that the phone will reach the global market from next month. It will be available in black and red color options.
The Nubia Red Magic 3S has a slight bezel on the top and bottom of the display, a single rear camera setup and almost the same back panel design as the Red Magic 3.
It also sports a rear fingerprint sensor. It encloses additional hardware toggles and touch-sensitive shoulder sides to create a gaming-focused dashboard.
Coming to the specifications, the Red Magic 3S runs on Android Pi with Redmagic OS 2.1 and supports dual-SIM slots.
The phone sports a H.66-inch FHD + (1080x2340 pixels) HDR AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 430 nit brightness. It comes with 8GB RAM and 12GB RAM options powered by Snapdragon 855 Plus processor. Internal storage options include 128GB and 256GB.
The rear camera has a 48-megapixel Sony IMX 586 sensor with f / 1.75 lens, and the front camera includes a 16-megapixel sensor featuring an F / 2.0 lens and AI beauty. The phone also packs 5000mAh battery with 27W fast charging support.
Connection options include Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth V5, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, 4G LTE and more. The Red Magic 3S measures 171.7x78.5x9.65mm and the phone weighs 215 grams.
The phone sports dual front-stereo speakers, DTS: X and 3D sound technology that create a cinematic soundscape.
Users can customize many effects and more than 16.8 million color RGB lights with Red Magic's Light Effects editor.
