Xiaomi India will organize a smarter new Mi TV in 2020 event

We believe that Xiaomi will bring the same 65-inch Mi TV to India that sells in China. The Chinese model of the 65-inch Mi TV runs on Android-based PatchWall like all other Mi TVs. The 65-inch Mi TV 4 comes with an ultra-thin metal body and comes with Dolby + DTS audio integration, as well as 4K HDR video support. Xiaomi states that Dolby + DTS audio decoding support is capable of offering an enhanced sound experience.

The 65-inch Mi TV is already sold in China. Outside of India, the 65-inch Mi TV comes with a price of 5,999 CNY which translates roughly to Rs. 63,300. For now, there are no details of the 65-inch Mi TV, but we expect the price of India on TV to approach the price of China. This means that the 65-inch Mi TV can be priced between Rs 55,000 and 60,000 in the country.

On September 17, Xiaomi India will organize a smarter 2020 event. In the event, as the name implies, Xiaomi will launch a new Mi TV, confirms the company on Tuesday through an official advance. In the teaser, Xiaomi's global vice president and managing director of India, Manu Jain, clearly hints that the 65-inch Mi TV will arrive in India on September 17. As the company also reports, this is the largest Mi TV in India. The biggest Mi TV that Xiaomi sells in India at the moment is My 55-inch 4X PRO LED TV.
Similar to all other existing Mi TVs, it also comes with an AI-based voice control system. The 65-inch Mi TV 4 offers a very large screen and thin bezels. On the front of the hardware, the 65-inch Mi TV works with a quad-core Cortex-A53 processor paired with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. Along with the 65-inch Mi TV, Xiaomi will also launch the long-awaited Mi Band 4 in India on September 17. In India we expect the price of the Mi Band 4 to be similar to the launch price of the Mi Band 3. Xiaomi India also announced that as of September 17, Netflix support will arrive on Mi TV. Xiaomi will reveal more details about the Smarter Living 2020 event.
