Then in 2004, in the month of October they acquired a map visualizing company named "KEYHOLE" ,whose marquee application suite, Earth Viewer, emerged as the highly successful Google Earthapplication in 2005 while other aspects of its core technology were integrated into Google Maps.In September 2004, Google acquired ZipDash, a company that provided real time traffic analysis. At last in 2005 they launched theie c++ program based google maps. After this improvements are being done. Still the improvement is going on.

But still it is not enough. They uses satellite to give 3D picture. We need 3D view to identify a place or a building or a road. That's why they worked on this. They merge the satellite images with the common maps and try to prepare a 3D maps. They took helps the helicopter also to get bird's eye view. In streets where the turn is and where a shop is, where you find medicine shop, where is the restaurant all these things are visualized by street view. After marge all these data they prepare a maps for you. Not only that they put GPS on it to find the live locations for you. Even you can think there are millions of road in a country, and you can find them anywhere anytime. It's not easy. The GPS system helps google to find a new road. Suppose a new roads have been made. How google will know it. If a person tells about it to google which you also can do , then it is fine but google can find it using GPS. They monitor the path where people is going and if a new path they can able to find then they verify that path and add it in their map.

Now google also tells us to provide the local data. It's not possible for them to find smallest roads to find. You can provide a shop and its location, you can add roads name, you can add a newly made temple. Then google will verify if it is really there or not then they will add it.
